Why I Built Evergreen Way Planning

I started Evergeen Way Planning because no one else seemed to be doing this — at least not in a way that made sense for people like us.

I've spent years building businesses, leading teams, and managing risk — and I’ve seen up close how fragile modern systems can be. Grid instability. Economic dislocation. Social volatility. And the slow hollowing-out of institutions that once felt unshakable. None of this requires panic — but it does demand planning.

And yet, if you’re a thoughtful individual with a net worth in the $1 million to $10 million range, your options are bleak:

  • Multi-family offices that want to take over your finances — assuming you’re “rich enough” for their minimums

  • Consultants who quote $25,000+ for vague continuity assessments and disappear after a few calls

  • Or worse: survivalist influencers pushing affiliate links for freeze-dried spaghetti and trauma kits

There was no middle ground — no practical, grounded, structured planning service designed for people with real lives, real responsibilities, and a low tolerance for nonsense.

So I built one.

Evergreen Way Planning isn’t just a business. It’s a response to a problem I couldn’t find a solution to myself — and a resource I wish had existed five years ago.

If you want a clearer plan, a sharper lens, and a grounded approach to personal contingency planning, you’re in the right place.
